Hammonton Rain Storm

Rain is a wonderful thing. Sobering it is, especially when it pelts and hits the windshield like so much schrapnel. Funny thing about rain, it changes perspective. These few images are from Route 30, also known as the White Horse Pike, Hammonton, NJ. Odd place, but nice and rooted. Called the Blueberry Capital of the World by locals, the City is a pass through to Atlantic City for most folk.

Local point of interest, Arena is a car dealer with a notable pie shaped showroom apportioned to its pie shaped lot. Used to sell Oldsmobiles... whaaat?

A local stip mall called, what else, Blueberry Crossings...

A rain blurred road sign of the "motel". Now called the... dunno, used be the Hammonton Inn, damn rain, ah Howard Johnson.

Guess it? No idea... Gas prices? Lots of fuel outlets there...

Filling station - Sunoco.

Strip mall, Canal's and Goodwill. a liquor store and a thrift outlet, respectively

Another fool on the road to AC, planning to win BIG and to buy hookers, here, over here..., in the red car, looking for Paz de la Huerta!!

OK, that's all I got. Hope that they were fun to look at. Will be doing something else tomorrow. Will post... Beach maybe. You?

E cosi va...

Paz plays a hooker in Boardwalk Empire, an HBO hit
about Atlantic City

Mayor - Stephen DiDonato
Population - 14,791
Elevation - 94 feet

Famous for the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

During the Feast, the Hammontonians and guests stick $$$ onto the Lady statue, huh?

Hammonton is a rectangle... not square, hehe, in Atlantic County, NJ

Jill Biden, wife of USVP Joe Piano Keys Biden, was born in Hammonton in 1951. Joe, who hails from Scranton PA, is a war baby ('42). The Piano Keys were created in a cosmetic dental lab. Oversized and looking whitey-oooo, these denti falsi grind, tear and masticate to perfection. Republicans, a specialty!
