Say what you will, it's not the cake. It's the icing! No matter how good the cake is, without icing, well, it's a no go. Sans the proper sugary glaze, the cake loses it excellence. Similarly, without the icing of a smooth and flawless decolettage, a set of breasts miss. Yup, miss esthetically. No matter how swell those fun bags look, they lose their pizzazz if they are suspended by old chicken skin.
The decolettage...
... is the upper part of a woman's torso, between her waist and neck, comprising her neck, shoulders, back and chest, that is exposed by the style of her clothing. However, the term is most commonly applied to a neckline which reveals or emphasizes cleavage. Low-cut necklines are a feature of ball gowns, evening gowns, leotards and swimsuits, among other fashions. Although décolletage does not itself prescribe the extent of exposure of a woman's upper chest, the design of a décolleté garment takes into account current fashions, aesthetics, social norms and the social occasion when a garment will be worn, and exposing of nipples or areolae is almost always considered toplessness or partial nudity, and not considered socially acceptable in most modern cultures, though that has not always been the case. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%A9colletage
Previously the issue of the wrinkled, spotted, aged and unsightly decolletage has been addressed in this blog. See http://www.pplume-blog.com/2011/03/cleavage-wrinkles.html While there are myriad of alternatives to address the issues surrounding the aging anterior chest wall, none are perfect. In an effort to promote ongoing pulchritude, a new procedure has been developed. It's called the Pellevé Perk-Up*.
Developed by Doctor Steven Davis of Cherry Hill, NJ...
Grace Robinson was pleased with the size of her breasts, but the 43-year-old wanted to smooth out the fine lines and wrinkles around her decolletage.
"I just wanted it to look a little perkier, around the breast area," said the Cherry Hill mother.
So, after a quick chat with her plastic surgeon, Steven Davis, Robinson found herself scheduled for a Pellevé Perk-up.
On a recent Wednesday afternoon, Davis spent 15 minutes gliding a wand that emitted radio frequencies over Robinson's chest. Afterward, her cleavage was noticeably smoother and tighter. She's definitely ready to rock a strapless dress.
"The changes were subtle, but I definitely look firmer," she said. "There is definitely a lift."
Davis devised the Pellevé Perk-up this spring after purchasing the Pellevé machine to aid in the removal of wrinkles from the jawline and eyes. Its radio frequencies get under the skin, repair collagen, and tighten it up. After some successes, he asked, why not try the breast area? He did and found that the results lasted about six months."Skin is skin," Davis said.So far, he has seen 300 women for the Pellevé Perk-up this year, at a cost starting at $200 per session. Depending on the severity of wrinkling in the treated area, some people must visit a few times http://www.philly.com/philly/entertainment/20110727_A_little_nonsurgical_tune-up_and_toning.html#ixzz1TJWSdjGj
In addition, Davis uses Botox chest injections to further his successes in making the chest look crisp and fresh.
He's even more successful with the Botox injections. So, there are at least two additional ways to keep up the "look". The Pellevé Perk-Up and Botox injections are easy, safe and inexpensive (in plastic surgical economics) methods of staying youthful. So, stay classy Cherry Hill... and the rest of the world too.
Like Robinson, Allison Goldfarb, 47, wanted to improve her cleavage area. Her concern was about sagging more than the appearance of lines. Recently, Davis injected Botox into Goldfarb's chest muscles.
Within a week, Goldfarb's muscles relaxed and that improved her posture, making her breasts stand out.
"Essentially, you stand up straighter," Davis said.
Prices range from $200 to $600, depending on how many vials of Botox are needed. This procedure can be completed in one visit, but like Botox injections in the forehead, it may be repeated in six months to retain the posture.
"It's a nonsurgical way of doing something that would have required surgery in the past," Davis said. "And the best thing is, there is no recovery time.
Here is a decolletage to jones for... (and those naturals are something to die for too!)
Here is a skin canvas needing work. Yuuuuuck-eroo!!
And another freckle project waiting for rescue. (Might as well go for the whole package...)
Modern medicine is wonderful. Uplifting in every sense of the word. Although it may seem fanciful and far fetched, it is being postulated that within 25 years plastic surgeons will be turning this
into this....
Just try to remember when people died of syphilis and polio paralyzed with abandon. Those diseases are irrelevant now as a result of medical science! So cool.
Cleavage deformities be gone. No more wrinkles, freckles or evidence of chest aging.
"You and I... Will be Young Forever"
Pellevé perhaps?
If not, how about a cool blue coconut ade before your Botox?
Harummmph!
E cosi va....
* Pellevé delivers constant, gradual energy to the skin, causing heat to build up where the skin and fat layer come together. The increasing heat modifies the collagen bundles deep inside the skin, causing them to contract and stimulating the growth of new collagen over time. This results in firmer, tighter skin.

Nice blog.. keep up the good work !
